About us

TVD was founded in 2005 and is affiliated to the British Society of Dowsers.  Our membership averages around 30 people and is drawn mainly from the Berkshire, Buckinghamshire and Oxfordshire area.

TVD members have a diverse range of interests and experience, from beginners through to those who have
been dowsing for many years.  They
include those with interests in archaeological dowsing, earth energies and health applications. We have also had individuals experienced in crop circles, Feng Shui, Reiki and even a ‘horse whisperer’ cum equine healer.

Our ‘home’ is the impressive New Jordans Centre near Beaconsfield, Buckinghamshire.  This is where most of our meetings with fascinating guest speakers take place, but we also arrange field trips to sites of special interest to our members, including a weekend event in the summer.  The latter have included visits to the Chalice Well at Glastonbury, a sundown visit to Stonehenge, and a tour of sacred sites in Dorset.  We continue to attract some of the top names in dowsing and related disciplines to speak to us and lead our field trips.

Those of all levels of skill are welcome and we can provide tuition and advice to those who are new to the exciting world of dowsing.

Our founder, Susan Scott-Powell, chairs the group in September 2010, she British Society of Dowsers’ Merit Award in recognition of her founding and leadership of TVD.
