The weekend opened with an exploration of the Tercentennial Labyrinth, designed by
Sig (see www.geomancy.org) and installed by the community in St John’s churchyard
in the High Street. We learned how to walk this traditional 7-
This was followed by a trip around the ruins of Glastonbury Abbey. Legends abound about this site, which some claim was established by Joseph of Arimethea and to have the bodies of King Arthur and Queen Guinevere buried within its walls.
In the evening, after a shared supper in a local hostelry, Sig presented slides on “British Sacred Sites” and “How to interpret messages from animals, plants and stones” to gain insight and wisdom. We also learned how to draw a labyrinth from a 'seed pattern'.
