Stoke Poges
A good day was had at Stoke Poges where we enjoyed the tranquillity of this lovely
church, viewing both Thomas Gray's monument nearby and his tomb in the churchyard.
A stroll through the adjoining Memorial Gardens was delightfully finished off by
a visit to Stoke Park. It seems that our members are now getting very adept at detecting
good locations for Sunday afternoon tea!
