Wycombe Ley Lines

Join us in a Celebration of International Dowsing Day for an informal afternoon with Mike Cubbage, dowsing the Wycombe Ley Line and other phenomena, at sites at Chinnor and High Wycombe.


Mike Cubbage is a member of TVD and a retired engineer, who has spent a considerable amount of time investigating the Ley Lines around High Wycombe, in particular the Wycombe Ley Line, and has agreed to lead us with an informal dowsing experience at two locations at Chinnor and High Wycombe on 5th May in celebration of International Dowsing Day which was so named after Hamish Miller in recognition of his dowsing work  in particular the discovery of the Michael and Mary Lines.


We will meet at 1.45pm in the Car Park at the Crown Public House, Station Road, Chinnor  OX39 4 EX for a prompt start at 2 p.m.  


We will follow Mike by car to the  car park nearest to the Tumuli ( car park is free).  There are 4 points on the Wycombe Ley line to locate and dowse all within 100 yards each other.  – 

(Total  time at this site about 45 minutes – 60 minutes ).


Then  we will drive to the Dashwood Mausoleum site ( approx. 4 miles) formerly an Iron Age Hill Fort on

West Wycombe Hill.  There is free car parking in the car park at the top of the hill adjacent to the Church of St. Lawrence, Hill Road, West Wycombe  ( sat nav ref HP14 3 AH) and we will meet up again there.

 The Church has a  golden orb which you will be able to see from a distance. There is a short walk ( 5 minutes) to the Mausoleum site where we will be  dowsing for  3 ley lines around the structure and other phenomena guided by Mike. ( Time at this site about one hour or as needed)  then;


At 4.30 p.m./ 5 p.m approximately or as it pans out!  Finish the day at the George and Dragon pub , High St. West Wycombe HP14 3 AB.


Precautions:  Please remember to protect yourself energetically before we start. If you don’t know how, please ask!


Health and Safety: Please wear sturdy footwear and appropriate clothing for the weather on the day and take care over uneven ground.


Dowsing Experience:  This event is suitable for those who are able to get a good response ( yes and no) from their dowsing rods and would be particularly good for those of you who have just attended the dowsing teaching day and wish to practice your dowsing skills.


Fee : This event is free for TVD members
